Microsoft has just released their second Windows Server Technical Preview, and it is a radical departure from the previous Technical Preview release, based on Build 9841.

The initial installation does not include the Desktop or GUI tools, either by design or an issue with the installation, but they were installed and screenshots continued with the GUI installed. A few notable differences between the Insider Preview and the Server Technical Preview are a lack of Cortana first off, and a focus on Server Manager and roles instead of store apps. However, the store is present in this build, as is Microsoft Edge, although non-functional in the built-in administrators account we are using.

Once the GUI is installed, easily accomplished using Add New Features, the Server OS begins to look a lot like Windows 10 Insider Preview, although with a lot more experimentation underway and a lot of broken pieces. It is also clear that the expectation will be that server administrators will not be using the built-in administrators account, with some pieces (such as Azure Services) not working with it. This is sure to rub some administrators the wrong way, as IT departments generally do not wish to be told how to run their servers; this could change before release.

he issue is caused by the way Apple Watch senses your heartbeat. According to Apple support, the back of the watch flashes green and infrared light at your skin, which gets absorbed or reflected by your blood. When your heart beats, there is more blood in your wrist, while there is less blood between beats. By sensing the timing between your heartbeats, the Apple Watch can calculate your heart rate.

Because tattoo ink is opaque, light can’t penetrate your skin. Even more so if you have solid-colored tattoos, specifically red ones, which absorb green light and reflect red light. Black tattoos can be even worse; absorbing both green and red light, interfering with the Apple Watch’s heart rate sensor more frequently.

If you’re a die hard Apple fan who needs to make use of this functionality Apple has a suggestion(albeit impractical): “If you’re not able to get a consistent reading because of any of these factors, you can connect your Apple Watch wirelessly to external heart rate monitors such as Bluetooth chest straps”.

Apparently, if you have tattoos on your wrist and you want your Apple watch to work – the only suggestion is to buy more Apple product.
